Nothing that touches your money or catalog happens without a preview and your typed YES — and the whole assistant runs under a spending ceiling that's always on.
Who this is for: anyone weighing whether to let an assistant near prices, stock, and discount codes.
The mechanism
Every change previews first. You see old → new before anything happens ([How confirmations work]).
Only a typed YES fires it. A thumbs-up, an emoji, or a voice-note "yes" deliberately doesn't count.
One pending question at a time. A YES answers only the question that's open.
Previews expire. Price and stock previews last 15 minutes; a pending coupon confirmation stays open longer, but not forever.
Bigger changes get more scrutiny. A discount over 30% adds an explicit confirmation step.
No duplicates. Repeating a request can't mint the same coupon twice.
A spend ceiling, always on. Every store has a built-in daily and monthly AI-spend ceiling; at it, the assistant declines gracefully rather than run up a bill.
Limits
There's no setting to turn confirmations off, and we won't add one — convenience isn't worth an accidental 90%-off code.
