Read your usage meters and limits

Where to see conversations, messaging actions, credits, and AI spend — and what actually happens when you hit a limit.

Your Account screen shows every meter — shopper conversations, messaging actions, audio credits, and AI spend. At a limit, Bolt declines gracefully and tells you why — no silent breakage, no surprise bill.

Who this is for: merchants wondering what a meter means, or why the assistant declined something.

The meters

Open Account in the Bolt admin:

  • Shopper conversations — storefront chats used vs included this period.

  • Messaging actions — WhatsApp/Telegram store-command usage against your allowance.

  • Audio credits — highlight balance ([Languages and the credit rule]).

  • AI spend — cost against its built-in ceiling.

Your plan's actual numbers live on this screen and the pricing page — the source of truth.

What happens at a limit

Limits decline, they don't bill.

  • Conversations run out → the storefront assistant stops answering new chats gracefully — no overage charge.

  • A chat command hits a quota → Bolt tells you why in the chat.

  • Every store has a built-in daily and monthly AI-spend ceiling, always enforced. At it, the assistant declines politely rather than keep spending.

  • Proactive alerts are capped per day — a busy store can't flood your phone.

Limits

A limit is never an outage — a decline with a reason is working as designed. Upgrading raises the quotas; the Account screen shows each tier.

Still stuck?

Decline doesn't match your meters? Message us an Account screenshot — we'll reconcile it.
