The confirmation window expired — what to do

You typed YES but nothing changed. The preview probably expired — here's how to redo it safely.

If you typed YES and nothing changed, the preview most likely expired. Ask again — Bolt sends a fresh preview — and reply YES within the window.

Who this is for: merchants whose price, stock, fulfillment, or coupon action seemed ignored after YES.

Why previews expire

A preview — a price going from $24.00 to $29.00, say — is valid for a short window: 15 minutes for price, stock, fulfillment, and coupon-deactivation changes; 24 hours for a pending new coupon. After that, the YES no longer applies.

That's deliberate: every change you approve is one you just looked at.

What to do

  1. Ask for the change again — "change the price of the canvas tote to 29."

  2. Bolt sends a fresh preview with the current values.

  3. Reply YES (typed — not a thumbs-up or a voice note) while the window is open.

A pending confirmation you don't recognize? Cancel it or let it expire — Bolt holds only one at a time, so a forgotten request can block a new one.

What this doesn't do

An expired preview never half-applies — if the window closed, nothing changed in your store.

Still stuck?

Replied YES inside the window and nothing happened? Message us the product or order name and roughly when you sent it.
