Bolt is two things in one: a storefront chat assistant that answers shoppers from your real store data, and an operator in your pocket — check and change your store from WhatsApp or Telegram. Each makes the other smarter.
Who this is for: anyone deciding whether to install Bolt, or who just did and wants the map.
The two sides
Your shoppers get an assistant. A chat widget answers product, policy, shipping, and order-status questions from your own catalog, policies, and pages — synced automatically at install. It recommends products, tracks orders (shopper verifies by email code first), and never guesses.
You get an operator. From WhatsApp or Telegram — typed or voice note — check sales, stock, and orders; create a coupon; change a price; fulfill an order. Anything touching money or your catalog previews first and waits for your typed YES.
They feed each other. When shoppers keep asking something your store doesn't answer, Bolt flags the gap. Your briefing draws on both sides: what sold, what's low, what shoppers ask.
What you can do
Ask about your store — "sales summary today," "what's low on stock." See Everything you can ask — the command list.
Make changes safely — change a price ("$24.00 → $29.00. Reply YES to confirm."), update stock, fulfill an order — every change previews first. See How confirmations work.
Create coupons — describe the deal, confirm, get a verified code. Over 30% gets an extra confirmation step, on purpose. See Create a coupon by chat.
Give products a voice — spoken summaries shoppers can play on product pages, in your chosen voice and language. See Your first audio highlight.
Get briefings — a daily or weekly spoken report of your numbers, where you already chat. See Audio briefings.
Teach the assistant — add Q&A for what your catalog can't answer; test in the playground first. See The assistant doesn't know a product or policy — here's why.
Customize the widget — colors, icon, greeting, quick replies, where it shows. See Widget appearance and branding.
