Bolt never changes a price, stock, or a discount code without showing exactly what's about to happen and waiting for your typed YES.

Who this is for: any merchant changing something from WhatsApp or Telegram — pricing, inventory, coupons, or fulfillment.

How it works

Ask for something that touches money or your catalog — "change the price of the canvas tote to 29" — and Bolt first sends back exactly what's about to change:

"Canvas Tote (SKU-114): $24.00 → $29.00. Reply YES to confirm."

Nothing changes until you reply with the word YES, typed out. A thumbs-up, a voice note saying "yes," or an emoji doesn't count — on purpose. Typing YES doesn't happen by accident, so a stray reaction can never move your prices or your money.

One confirmation at a time: with a YES pending, finish or cancel it before asking for something else — so a busy chat never mixes up which YES is which.

The confirmation window

A preview expires after a limited window — then you ask again. An hour-old preview can't fire after your prices have already changed some other way.

What this doesn't do

Bolt never guesses a confirmation from context. Bigger changes get more scrutiny, not less — a discount over 30% adds an extra confirmation step. No setting turns confirmations off.

Still stuck?

Typed YES and nothing happened? See The confirmation window expired — what to do in Troubleshooting. Anything else, message us — we read every one.
